(Revised) Congratulations to Marie Callbeck and Vipul Parekh, National winners of the 2026 Helen Shields Rookie-Master Game, followed by Edward Anderson – Darlene Nadon and Dale Bercov – Chuck Cherry, all from bridge clubs in Zone V. The winners scored 72.5%, winning against all participants from 21 clubs across Canada.

The COPC, Canada’s premier pairs bridge championship, takes place April 25–26, 2026 on RealBridge. Registration closes April 19, so don’t wait. Pre-register now to secure your spot in this national online championship!
Qualified pairs from coast to coast will compete in two exciting flights: the Top Flight (COPC-A) and, new this year, the Mid Flight (COPC-B), open to pairs with fewer than 2,500 masterpoints.

The CBF is organizing a series of online games this winter for players with between 0 and 499 masterpoints. Each session is 14 boards, followed by a 30-minute live review, where participants can ask questions in real time and hear a Canadian expert discuss the hands that were just played.
