Monthly Canada-Wide Game on BBO

The CBF holds a monthly game on BBO on the 3rd Saturday of each month. These games are for CBF members only and are an opportunity to play with and against fellow Canadian players. Please help us spread the word and thank you for supporting Canadian bridge.
In January, February, and March the games will serve as qualifiers for the COPC (pairs). The Canadian Open Pairs Championships require prior qualification to participate. The dates are: January 20, February 17 and March 16. All at 1:15pm. EST. Have fun!

KIBITZ THE CANADIAN National TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!

The Round Robin Qualifiers will take place for the four major events on RealBridge. All matches begin at 12:00 p.m. EST. (Kibitzing delayed by 30 minutes) and subsequent matches will follow throughout the day. All information on teams, schedules and results can be found here: 2024 Chapionships.

  • Mixed Teams –  January 12, 13, 14
  • Womens Teams – January 20, 21
  • Open Teams – February 9, 10, 11
  • Senior Teams – February 24, 25
  • Follow this link (kibitz.realbridge.online) to kibitz the round robin matches on RealBridge. Simply write your name when you enter on the kibitz server, nothing else. This event is “Canadian National Teams.”
    The finals will be held in Penticton, B.C. in June at the CBC.

    2024 Canadian Championships

    The 2024 Canadian Championships will be held in Penticton, B.C. from June 10 to 18 in parallel with the Penticton Regional. 
    For all team events, the Round Robin stage will be played online in January and February, and the finals will be held in Penticton, as well as the COPC and CIPC events.

    The Great Canadian Bidding Contest – March 2024 Problems

    For the October problems, Andy Stark and Dan Jacob tied for the top expert score with 46. On the reader’s side, Fred Lerner had the top score, followed closely by Richard Bickley.

    We will once again play our Online Team League on BBO.

    New this year: Division B for any team with players having less than 2500MPs and free for this group.
